【摘要】:Moisturepermeatingfromconcretefloorslabsaffectstheperformanceofflooringsystemssuchasresilient,wood,textilefloorcoveringsandresinouscoatings.Manufacturersofsuchsystemsgenerallyrequirehumidity/moisturetestingbeperformedbeforeinstallationoverconcretefloorslabs.Themeasurementofrelativehumidity(RH)directlyabovetheporoussurfacesofafloorslabisonesuchmethod.Excessivemoistureinoremittingfromfloorslabsafterinstallationcancausefloorcoveringsystemfailuressuchasdelamination,bondingfailure,deteriorationoffinishflooringandcoatings,andmicrobialgrowth.ThesurfaceRHHood(relativehumidity)testmethodisintendedtoquantifytherelativehumidityconditionthatexistsatthesurfaceofafloorslabtowhichafloorcoveringorcoatingshallbeapplied.Resultsindicatemoisturecontentconditionsatthetimeofthetest,asmoisturemovementwithintheslabisdynamic.SeeA1.4forreferencetosomemethodsofdeterminingmoisture/humiditylevelsinaconcreteslab.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofpercentrelativehumidityabovethesurfaceofconcretefloorslabsforfieldorlaboratorytests.1.2Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SomespecificwarningsaregiveninSection.
