【摘要】:Thistestmethodoutlinestheuseofdynamicmechanicalinstrumentationindeterminingandreportingtherheologicalpropertiesofthermoplasticresinsandothertypesofmoltenpolymers.Itmaybeusedasamethodfordeterminingthecomplexviscosityandothersignificantviscoelasticcharacteristicsofsuchmaterialsasafunctionoffrequency,strainamplitude,temperature,andtime.Suchpropertiesmaybeinfluencedbyfillersandotheradditives.Itincorporatesalaboratorytestmethodfordeterminingtherelevantrheologicalpropertiesofapolymermeltsubjectedtovariousoscillatorydeformationsonaninstrumentofthetypecommonlyreferredtoasamechanicalordynamicspectrometer.Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovideameansofdeterminingtherheologicalpropertiesofmoltenpolymers,suchasthermoplasticsandthermoplasticelastomersoverarangeoftemperaturesbynonresonant,forced-vibrationtechniques.Plotsofmodulus,viscosity,andtandeltaasafunctionofdynamicoscillation(frequency),strainamplitude,temperature,andtimeareindicativeoftheviscoelasticpropertiesofamoltenpolymer.Thistestmethodisvalidforawiderangeoffrequencies,typicallyfrom0.01to100Hz.Thistestmethodisintendedforhomogenousandheterogeneousmoltenpolymericsystemsandcompositeformulationscontainingchemicaladditives,includingfillers,reinforcements,stabilizers,plasticizers,flameretardants,impactmodifiers,processingaids,andotherimportantchemicaladditivesoftenincorporatedintoapolymericsystemforspecificfunctionalproperties,andwhichcouldaffecttheprocessabilityandfunctionalperformance.Thesepolymericmaterialsystemshavemoltenviscositiestypicallylessthan10Pas(10poise).Apparentdiscrepanciesmayariseinresultsobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Withoutchangingtheobserveddata,reportinginfull(asdescribedinthistestmethod)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawasobtainedmayenableapparentdifferencesobservedinanotherstudytobereconciled.Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodarerelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThistestmethodisequivalenttoISO6721,Part10.
